The Hunger Games

'The Hunger Games' by Suzzane Collins takes you on a journey that will take your breath away. After reading it for the 5th time I finally decided it has to be one of my top 5 favorite books ever. Suzzane Collins has the talent that J.K.R has, the talent that Tolkien had, The talent to take your reader and place them inside your minds work. A truly amazing gift. When you read The Hunger Games you can picture even the smallest detail in your head the characters could be real people you can see then and hear your voices in your head. Everything is just so vivid. I personally love books where you can pick them up and leave your life behind and be put into the life of anyone which is exactly what The Hunger Games does!

I'm not going to try and explain this book because (as I mentioned above) it's one of my favorites so I want you to go and buy a copy or borrow a copy and read it. It will blow you away.

Hollow Pike Review

Hollow Pike

Hollow Pike by James Dawson has got to be the best book I've read this year. Perfect for lovers of Stephanie Meyer and L.J. Smith.

To an onlooker Lis seems like a normal, average teenager but when you look inside her head you see that she is plagued by vicious nightmares of her death. Trying to escape the bullying she endures at school she moves to live with her sister Sarah in Hollow Pike. Little does she know this is what the dreams have been trying to prevent.

James Dawson traps the reader with his words making it impossible to stop. This book cannot be put down. There are bits in there (I'm not going to spoil them) that will make you jump and if you read into the early hours of the morning then you'll actually get a bit creeped out. This is the perfect book for all lovers of fiction both young adult and adult.
